How to choose a music agency in Dubai
Dubai has many entertainment agencies, from large all-round companies to specialists. The right one is the one that understands your event and is clear about what you are getting. Use this checklist to compare agencies — including us — before you book.

1. Do they show you the actual musicians?
Ask for recent videos of the specific performers you are booking. A polished showreel is useful for a first impression, but the booking should name the musicians and the line-up you will get on the night.
2. Do they reply quickly and clearly?
How an agency handles your first message is a good guide to how it will handle your event. Look for fast replies, questions about your venue and mood, and suggestions that fit — not a generic catalogue.
3. Is the quote complete?
A clear quote states the line-up, the number and length of sets, arrival and sound-check time, sound equipment, travel, and what happens if the event runs over. If something is not written down, ask.
4. Do they understand your kind of event?
A Gulf wedding, an Indian sangeet, a ladies-only reception and a corporate gala each need different things. Ask about experience with your format — for example a zaffa entrance, female-only line-ups or a corporate iftar — and whether they can suggest the right musicians for each moment.
5. Will they coordinate with your venue?
Good agencies talk directly to the venue about sound, power, access and timings, and confirm any paperwork the event needs. See our permits guide for what to ask.
6. Can the musicians personalise the music?
Ask whether the musicians can learn a special song, play a do-not-play list, or adapt the set to your guests — Arabic, Bollywood, Western pop or a mix.
7. Specialist or all-round agency?
All-round agencies are convenient if you need dancers, hosts and shows as well as music. A music specialist focuses on matching the right musicians to each moment. Either can work — choose the one whose roster and advice best fit your event.
Red flags
- Only stock photos, or videos that are clearly not the performers offered
- No written confirmation of the line-up, timings or what the quote includes
- Vague answers about sound, set-up or who handles the venue’s requirements
- Pressure to pay in full immediately without written terms
How we work
We are a music-only agency. Send your date, venue and the mood you want; we usually reply within minutes with a shortlist of musicians, videos and a clear quote, and arrange repertoire, sound and timings with the artist. Start with how to hire musicians in Dubai if you are still planning.
Questions, answered
How do I choose an entertainment agency in Dubai?
Ask for recent videos of the exact performers, a written line-up and a complete quote, check that the agency understands your type of event and will coordinate with your venue, and compare how quickly and clearly each agency replies.
Is it better to book a musician directly or through an agency?
Booking directly can work for a single performer you already know. An agency is useful when you want options, a combination of acts, a replacement if needed, or help coordinating sound and timings with the venue.
What should an entertainment quote include?
The line-up, number and length of sets, arrival and sound-check times, sound equipment, travel, and the terms if the event runs late or the plan changes.
